2. After the relay passes the acceptance, general inspection must be carried out before installation, mainly including: the appearance should be clean without pollution and damage; Coil resistance test; High voltage test. To ensure reliable conversion and personal safety.
3. The high-voltage lead of the electrode shall be flat, wide and soft, and it is best to use silver plated copper strip to ensure that the lead inductance has little influence, the electrical contact is good, and the heat dissipation effect is good.
4. The relay usually generates electric arc during "thermal" conversion, and the ionized gas or metal vapor from the contact may cause flash or breakdown. In order to enable the product to cut off higher power and avoid destructive breakdown, the relay shall be connected to the load ground terminal as far as possible
5. After the relay is stopped accidentally for a period of time, there will be false "air leakage", which is due to the release of a small amount of gas adsorbed on the inner surface of the relay. At this time, it is allowed to remove it by high-pressure treatment, that is, before the relay is installed into the system, a simple high-voltage test will be carried out.
Note: during high-voltage treatment, when the voltage is greater than 15kV, X-rays will be generated, and the relay must be shielded with a lead plate greater than 1.6mm thick.
6. Since the working voltage of the relay is generally high, it is recommended to immerse the product in insulating oil to ensure the normal operation of the relay. When the product is used in the air, it shall be ensured that the product is used in a ventilated and dry environment to prevent the product from dirt deposition and moisture.
